This article in the Washington and Lee student newspaper, The Ring-tum Phi, discusses how the university's newly admitted students feel about the attitudes of their male classmates. Many women on campus felt that their male classmates were rude or standoffish towards them, often leading them to go to other colleges to socialize; however, others felt that this situation would improve after fraternity rush and was not as bad after the men relaxed.
